I was commissioned in the summer 2009, by the Independent magazine to test a new Sony Digital SLR camera. The theme was "The Great British Summer" - landscape category.
So, one hot summer night, after spending the day testing the camera, I was invited by some good friends for a BBQ. Late in the same night, after lots of food & too many drinks, their garden started whispering to me: Shoot me... Shoot me... So, I did!
The final image is quite mathematical, 30 sec exposure on a tripod, available light and a 2 sec of an extra security light triggered by the waving of my arm.
Surely, that was the chosen image by the client to be printed. Which was great, as it carries so much symbolic value for me and made my friends pretty proud & happy.
