Short Biography

André Lichtenberg (b.1964 - Brazil) graduated with a first class BSC (Hons) Degree in Photographic & Electronic Imaging Science - University of Westminster (1994) followed by a MA in Photographic Studies - University of Westminster (1997). Since then his photographs have been used all over the World as billboards, book covers, advertising and magazine editorials. Andre's personal images have been exhibited in prestigious art spaces including: Museum da Republica (Rio de Janeiro - Brazil), Centro Cultural Sao Paulo (Brazil), Photographers Gallery, Barbican Centre and AOP Gallery (London), as well as being part of several private collections.

André loves developing personal projects as well as collaborating with art directors, curators, artists, designers, picture editors and architects. He easily switches from location to studio work. "The Photographic Science degree was hard work, but it gave me great confidence & fantastic tools to solve any logistical problems that might arise when working on a difficult project, specially while shooting on a remote location. I really enjoy working with people and doing my best to achieve great imagery".
